Born and raised in Spanish Harlem Self Made Streets’ hustle mentality makes him a force to be reckoned with. Born July 27th, 1990 Streets who’s real name is Joshua Rivera decided from an early age that music would be something he wanted to pursue. While many teenagers were being taken care of by their parents Streets was out taking care of business. Starting his company Self Made Millionaire Records at a mere age of 16 with the help of his brother Streets embarked on a journey that would be forever. Growing up his life was like a book that is hard to put down so rapping came natural for him drawing inspiration from his truths. As a child he was very shy so he would often use writing as a way to express himself. Streets is no stranger to the struggle and has faced some of the harshest lessons life has to offer but still has remained solid & Consistent. Filled with the hunger to win and the drive to see it through Streets has reinvented himself. Streets is holding nothing back and promises to stay consistent starting with his Debut release of “No Turning Back.” This is Streets’ first project to be released via all major digital platforms. It is a major stepping-stone in Streets newly formed career. The project features many tracks that exceed the standard of popular Hip Hop. Streets literally surprised the streets with the smash hit “Narcos.” On the track Streets goes toe to toe and holds his own with the Bronx native Oun P, a witty lyricist, dominating the underground world of Hip Hop. Streets has also enlisted Harlem’s own Tim Vocals who was recently cosigned by Tory Lanez to the feature list for his upcoming Underground Sophomore project “Money’s the Motivation.” Streets has appeared on, The Source, SiriusXM’s Shade 45 The Weekend Work, Jordan Tower Films, and has opened up for Jay Critch, Dej Loaf, and Dream Doll. Not to mention booked his own independent tour dubbed “The In The Streets Tour” that consisted over 30 shows mainly based in the Tri-State area but not shy of travel making it all the way to Miami for a show at the legendary KODs. Consistency is key and Streets has no plans of slowing. Self taught, self paid, Self Made and for Streets that’s the only way.
